Privacy policy

We collect nothing about you ourselves. Our own pages set no cookies and load no trackers. The fonts and images are served from this site's own server.
There is no contact form. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us in an email.
One exception, and it is not ours: our web host adds its own performance and traffic script to every page. See Our web host's analytics below.
Who we are
Lucid ITS (“we”, “us”) provides custom software development services. You can reach us at support@lucid-its.ca.
What we collect
From this website, by us: nothing. Browsing these pages does not create a record of you with us. We set no cookie, store no identifier in your browser, and load no advertising service.
If you email us: we receive your email address, your name if you give it, whatever you write, and anything you attach. We hold that so we can reply to you.
Our web host may keep standard server logs, which can include IP addresses, as part of operating and securing the service. We do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.
Our web host's analytics
Our website is hosted by GoDaddy. GoDaddy automatically inserts its own
performance and traffic-monitoring script into every page we serve, and loads it from
img1.wsimg.com. We did not add this script, it is not part of the website we
wrote, and we cannot remove it from the page ourselves.
It runs in your browser and sends usage information to GoDaddy. What it collects and how GoDaddy uses it is governed by GoDaddy's privacy policy, not by this one.
We would rather it were not there and have raised removing it with our host. If it is switched off, we will update this page.
Why we collect it
Only to respond to your enquiry and to provide services you have asked for. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with providers who help us operate this website and our business, and only as far as they need it. At present that means our web host (GoDaddy, which also runs the analytics described above) and our email provider. No one else receives it, and we do not sell it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for up to 24 months from our last exchange with you, then delete them. If you ask us to delete your correspondence sooner, we will.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may ask us:
- what personal information we hold about you,
- to correct it if it is wrong, and
- to delete it.
Write to support@lucid-its.ca and we will respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within 30 days.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. Our host's script, described above, may set cookies or store identifiers in your browser; that is outside our control and covered by GoDaddy's policy. You can block it with your browser's tracking protection or a content blocker, and the site will work normally without it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
